ICAN of Lancaster held its first meeting on June 10th of 2010! It was a great success everyone brought a lot of positive energy and ideas to the group. I'd like to thank everyone for their support and generosity of our first fund raiser, the Wendy Jo's Homemade cookie raffle. At our first gathering we discussed cesarean section rates for Lancaster and York Counties and care provider resources, especially those who are VBAC supportive in our area.
I'd also like to thank Pam Herr for volunteering her time to act as our chapter co-leader and Sara Eiser for volunteering her time to act as chapter treasure!! We are still in need of a chapter secretary, please contact me for more information if you're interested.
I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone at our next meeting on July 15th!
